Catholics worldwide are urged to pray for priests on the World Day of Prayer for the Sanctification of Priests, a day that coincides with the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus on Friday, June 7th. The day was begun by Saint John Paul II in 2002 with objective of having all Catholic faithful in prayer for the sanctification of priests. (Ordo)
