In 1965, the Saskatoon Diocesan of the Catholic Women’s League had a grotto built on the beautiful grounds of the Queen’s House Retreat Centre in Saskatoon, SK that was dedicated to Our Lady of Good Counsel. Over the years, natural deterioration and vandalism eroded the grotto. During the summer of 2022, the Saskatoon Diocesan of the Catholic Women’s League had the grotto restored. These pictures show the grotto and some of the League executives of the Diocese of Saskatoon. The League will also have a Legacy Oak Tree planted on the Retreat Grounds in the spring of 2023!
