St. Teresa of Avila’s (Elmira, Ontario) annual Mother’s Day Tea fundraiser was cancelled for the past two years, so this year, the council decided to “think in the box!” Members baked 132 scones, made 65 small jars of jam, included tea bags and chocolate treats and had the boxes decorated by children in Grades 5, 6 and 8 from St. Teresa’s School. A total of 62 boxes were pre-sold and enjoyed!
