On May 12th, Mother’s Day, St. Patrick’s Parish Council (Carbonear, NL) held a special program to celebrate all mothers.
At mass all the ministries involved the members, readers, offertory procession, and the Eucharist minister. The program celebrated mothers both living and deceased. Red and white roses were placed at the foot of the altar by the children attending mass, prayers were said for the mothers and the hymn “Gentle Women” was sung. A blessing was given to all by Fr. Anthony, their Spiritual Advisor.
