Fr. Rene Chartier presided over St. Mary Parish Council’s (Beauséjour) commemoration of its Spring Snow Flowering Crabapple Tree on September 15th planted in front of the church. It was followed by the parish council’s first outdoor meeting. President Anne Wolkenstein read from works by Dom Lorenzo Scupoli, written in 1589—words so appropriate for contemplating a beautiful work of creation.
