St. James parish council, Vernon, BC
St. James Catholic Women’s League (Vernon, BC) members celebrated their Christmas party with Bishop Joseph Nguyen, Our Lady of the Valley CWL and the Catholic Girls League. Sixty Christmas shoeboxes were filled and wrapped for the North Okanagan Youth and Family Services Society. Gifted to a street nurse for distribution to women in need, she advised us that this is often the only gift these women receive at Christmas.
