On September 12th, members of St. Helen Parish Council’s (Vancouver) executive planted a hearty hibiscus tree in St. Michael’s Centre’s community garden. St Michael’s is the only faith-based care home in British Columbia founded by three churches, Catholic, United and Anglican. It serves individuals with complex and challenging health needs and provides hospice for those who are nearing the end of life.
