St. Gregory the Great Parish Council (Picton) planted a beautiful red maple tree at the entrance to the Catholic cemetery in honour of the League’s 100th anniversary and mindful of the national theme, Care for Our Common Home. Husbands and grandsons, as well as members, were enlisted to select, plant, bless it with Father George Okoye, and to water it daily until it gets established. It was a work of joy!
