In October, 20 members from St. Basil Parish Council (Ottawa) participated in a virtual discussion on the Role of Women in Healing the Church, following the general outline from Sr. Nuala Kenny’s presentation during the League’s Summer Speaker Series. Several areas requiring healing were identified and various proposals considered. A key component of the parish council’s plan moving forward will be to educate members on the current thinking about women’s role in the church.
