St. Anthony of Padua Parish Council (Winnipeg) planted an apple tree on the parish grounds in honour of the League’s 100th anniversary. The parish grounds are home to several fruit trees, including two apricot trees, two apple trees and one pear tree. Once the tree was planted, a prayer for the earth was recited.
