Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish Council (Kamloops) held an honour guard for Helen Saemerow, a 70 year member, CWL advocate, and mentor for many. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only four members were permitted in the church. With permission from the family, parish priest and funeral director, the honour guard was held in the parking lot. After the mass, the hearse circled through the parking lot, while members recited the rosary and gave Helen the League blessing.
