Third and final day of Ottawa meetings:
National President Fran Lucas, President Elect Shari Guinta, and Resolutions Chairperson Rolande Chernichan met with MP Ted Falk, Provencher Constituency, who had arranged tickets for them to attend Question Period. Legislation Chairperson Glenda Carson was not able to attend in person, but joined the delegates by phone for a majority of the meetings. They also met with Ryan Worms who is the Political Advisor for the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Steven Guilbeault. Then they met Jerome Cote, Senior Policy Advisor for the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, Marie-Claude Bibeau. Our delegates felt it was a huge privilege to have the opportunity to meet with our government officials. We are very proud of them for representing our members so well!
