Dear Sisters in the League,
The Catholic Women’s League of Canada is eager to share a new spiritual workshop; the Prayer Service Planning Workshop created by the spiritual formation working group. The purpose of the Prayer Service Planning Workshop is three-fold:
- To teach members to write their own prayers, and prayer services, so each meeting will include the elements of spiritual growth and growth in relationship with each other.
- To assist members to grow spiritually – to deepen prayer life in our Councils.
- To avoid the serious legal issue of breaking copyright of prayers, prayer services, music, images, etc. produced by other people and organizations.
It is our hope that members develop their leadership skills and assist the spiritual formation of members to continue to grow in faith by sharing, witnessing and creating positive change. This document assists members by providing the materials to increase women’s spirituality.
Councils are encouraged to continue to celebrate and live their Catholic faith especially as they meet together.
