Launch of Dignity of Work and Rights of Workers Catholic Social Teaching Module

The Catholic Women’s League of Canada is pleased to provide members with the document The Dignity of Work and the Rights of Workers (#629). The document provides an opportunity for discussion and self-reflection on one of the themes of Catholic social teaching and can be found under the 600 Series: Manuals.

Want to know what action can be taken? Suggestions are provided. Included is a list of resources, movies/Podcasts/YouTube, songs and scripture readings to educate and inspire. Brief biographies of ‘Prophets Among Us’, past and present and from all walks of life who have contributed to the dignity of work and rights of the workers.

This document provides information that will enable members of the League to actively become involved in this aspect of social justice and Catholic social teachings.
