Implementation Committee Update—February 2023
Watch out for it! Coming soon, not one, but three webinars featuring resources from the implementation of the strategic plan. The implementation committee is hard at work preparing for these exciting webinars that will occur on March 11th and 28th and April 15th! Watch for additional information and registration links coming members’ way soon.
The faith organizations working group eagerly awaits data from the annual report to identify councils already involved in both ecumenical and interfaith activities. In connection with this strategy, the group will interview a small selection of members for a video. The video’s purpose is to encourage members to work with sister Christian churches and other faith groups on faith, service and social justice projects. The World Day of Prayer, food banks and thrift stores are examples of these projects.
The smartphone app working group is still working on the request for proposal for a League app, as well as key questions about content and functionality the national executive/board wants to best serve members.
