Implementation Committee Update – December 2022

Having Faith – But there’s still work to be done

The implementation committee and working groups have worked hard the last four years. They have put in thousands of hours to help make the League relevant to Catholic women in today’s society. These women have great faith in the relevance of the League. They believe that faithful women can have a positive impact on Canadian society. We need to adapt and encourage those women who are not yet members to join us giving them the opportunity “to grow in faith and witness to the love of God through ministry and service.”

Members need to be able to articulate who they are and what is important to them. The education working group is creating resources to help do exactly this!   It will create tools so members can better understand the core purpose and objects of the League. These resources will help members share their understanding of the League with others.

The mentor members working group has sent out surveys to all levels of the League. It is asking for all members to become mentors.

The implementation committee has faith that the League will continue into the future in a vibrant and renewed format.  We all have work to do to make this a reality and play an important role in helping to create this “League of the Future” through the gifts they bring to share with others.
