Holy Cross Parish Council (Winnipeg) planted a Colorado Blue Spruce tree in honour of the League’s 100th anniversary in Canada. A small ceremony was held, starting with a reading from Genesis 1:1-10, followed by prayers, with each member in attendance contributing to the planting. The tree will be the focal point of a garden of reflection and, God willing, as it grows larger, it will become a permanent Christmas tree.
