The League, through the Implementation Committee, is pleased to provide members with the document Community and Common Good. The concept of community and the common good is the essential principle of Catholic social teaching. The document includes resources on, organizations, educational opportunities, books and articles, films, prayers and prayer services, papal documents, church documents and teaching, documents from the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops and scripture quotes. Each of these sections include website links to gather additional information. Also included is Prophets Among Us to be inspired by their vision and actions. Christifideles Laici “…calls with a particular urgency for the action of the lay faithful. …It is not permissible for anyone to remain idle”. Members are encouraged to use these resources to do the work in the vineyard of the Lord for the community and common good.
