My dear sisters in the League,
The apple blossoms in full bloom outside my window give the hopeful sign that spring has arrived! It is wonderful to see members across Canada returning to gathering in person and hosting events. Continue to ask your diocesan counterparts to encourage members to send photographs of parish council activities to national office to be featured in Spotlight on the national website and social media (Facebook and Instagram).
This year, members were able to attend the taping of the “Daily TV Mass” at Loretto Abbey Chapel in Toronto, Ontario. The League annually sponsors it in honour of the League’s patroness, Our Lady of Good Counsel. Kindly mark your calendars and remind your diocesan counterparts to inform members that it will air on the Feast of Our Lady of Good Counsel (April 26th ). It will also be available on the League’s Facebook page for those unable to view it at the scheduled time.
The national website is under construction, and the revisions will be ready soon. Stay tuned for updates and the launch date!
Conventions have begun, so make a point of capturing those precious moments and send in your photographs. Members look forward to seeing all the wonderful work being done across Canada!
Remember, communication is key!
