As we continue journeying through the Easter Season, with beautiful spring signs to brighten the day, work continues to keep us connected to members at this critical time in the League.

Councils continue their work in various ways, and with that, many requests to use the League crest are being submitted. A form has been created to make the process easier and consistent. A fillable Crest Permission Request Form (#525F) is now available at

The requests from councils to add features to the membership database are being developed. Some have been included in the current system, while others will need to wait for the launch of the upgraded version. One enhancement available now is the ability to track those who are associate members. Parish council membership chairpersons can indicate which members are associate members. Encourage them to make the change now, rather than waiting for when other changes are sent in. The ability to identify these members will be beneficial for elections and to determine the interest of non-Catholics and potential opportunities for evangelization.

In the eyes of parish councils, this enhancement may very well be a big win, so I encourage you to ask your diocesan counterparts to help convey this to the councils in that fashion. We want to ensure members see we are listening to their requests and suggestions.
