Church of the Ascension Parish Council (Parksville)

Dec 2, 2022 | Spotlight

Church of the Ascension Parish Council (Parksville, BC) held its CWL Fashion Tea to a sold-out audience on November 17th in the Parish Hall. The wonderful event was in support of Forward House, a home for those recovering from addictions. Over $3,000 was raised in ticket sales!

Sandy Herle of Close to You boutique coordinated and commentated the show. The models were all members of Ascension CWL council along with two members of Forward House board. The delicious desserts were done by Lucille Barclay and her amazing team.

The Knights of Columbus in their elegant tuxedos escorted the ladies to their tables. They also escorted the models in the finale of the show.

Council President, Carmen Tellier and her husband Paul, who is the Grand Knight of our Parish Council, led the parade.

In the audience supporting the event were also members of Trinity Catholic and St. Peter’s Parish Councils. It was a winning afternoon for everyone.
