Calgary Diocesan Council has been working to build a relationship with Stardale Women’s Group, which helps young Indigenous women learn life skills, foundational learning and literacy, and advocacy for themselves, their families and communities. When asked how the CWL could help begin to build a relationship, it was suggested that the League provide Easter baskets for each of the 29 girls in the program. The diocesan council surpassed 29 baskets!
April 4, 2022: Calgary Diocesan Council’s first in-person Calgary regional meeting since the global COVID-19 pandemic, where members collected the Easter baskets for distribution to Stardale Women’s Group.
