Good news! The implementation committee has released its four-part Advocacy Workshop (#831) consisting of four PowerPoint presentations, four sets of presenter’s notes and two handouts.
Rooted in sacred scripture and the seven principles of Catholic social teaching, these workshops offer an understanding of our baptismal call to advocacy through charity, service and social justice. Gain insight about the difference between speaking out or speaking up and how to have your voice heard individually or collaboratively within the League.
I encourage councils to present these workshops so that “we continue to set the League apart from other women’s organizations as members highlight justice in their deliberations and actions, building God’s reign on earth.”
