A Christmas Message from National President Fran Lucas
“Today a light will shine upon us, for the Lord is born for us; and he will be called Wondrous God, Prince of peace, Father of future ages: and his reign will be without end.” (Cf. Isaiah 9.1, 5; Luke 1.33)
Through Advent, we prayed for the coming of the Light! On Christmas Day, we are overjoyed because of the arrival of that light—a clear sign of God’s love for us. Baby Jesus is among us and reminds us that we are part of His family, and He is with us through happy and difficult times. Pray to be a joyful source of love and light for those you encounter and pray with thanks for those who are a source of love and light to you.
I wish you a very peace-filled Christmas as you rejoice, knowing you are united with the Holy Family and that every day those family ties become stronger as we proclaim the glory of God by embracing our faith with evermore hope, love and kindness.
