Whereas, experts in law, health and ethics agree that human life begins at the time of conception; therefore, be it

Resolved, that the national council of The Catholic Women’s League of Canada, in 77th annual national convention assembled, urge the federal government to amend the Canadian Human Rights Act and the Interpretations Act by defining a child as a human being from conception, with the right to life, liberty and security of person.
