Treasurer Communique #4

Greetings
Women of Peace and Hope, I wish you and your families a very healthy and prosperous 2010. This is probably my last communiqué to you as national secretary-treasurer and I want to take this opportunity to say thank you for your prayers and support during my two terms. I send a very special thank you to: Executive Director Kim Scammell, to the wonderful staff at national office as well as to the members of the administrative committee; all continue to work together as good stewards on members' behalf. It has been my honour and privilege to be part of that team.

Annual Reports
The deadline date for submission of provincial annual reports to national office is March 15th. Great works and acts of charity are carried out by members and this is reflected in the detailed reports submitted. Treasurers are commended for the efficient preparation of complete reports, the information from which will be gathered into the convention report book.

National Voluntary Funds
In preparing annual reports, please include a breakdown of donations to the national voluntary funds. The agencies assisted by donations from members and councils of the League are:

Coady International Institute

National Pro-Life Fund

Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace

Catholic Missions In Canada

World Union of Catholic Women's Organizations

MaterCare International Inc.

Per Capita Fees
Per capita fees are due and payable on January 1st of each year and are requested to be remitted to national office on or before February 28th. Hopefully, new members will be included. For further information, please refer to the National Manual of Policy and Procedure, Article XVI Finance, Section 3: Membership and Per Capita Fees.
